3 ways to style a baker boy hat

If there is one fall trend I am excited for, it’s the Baker Boy hat. This retro style hat can be found on magazine covers, all over Instagram, and on campus! After my sister got one of her own we grabbed a camera and came up with three ways to style this staple fall accessory. From a 70s vibes outfit, a fuzzy sweater, to edgier street style, the possibilities are endless! We hope you feel inspired, xoxo.

My mom once told me I had an old soul, and 13-year-old me could not have hated that any more. Then, at 16 a palm reader told me the same thing. Now, 18-year-old me has  finally come to accept and embrace that part of myself. This meaning I have succumb to my nearly dangerous adoration for the traditionally romantic, resourcefully unique fashion, and the entirety of the creative era that was the ‘80s. The sheer magic that encapsulated the movie, music and fashion industry at the time has no doubt influenced and inspired the generations before it to this day.

Shamelessly express yourself through your stylistic personality. What you wear, the music that inspires you, and how you tie these together to present who you are or want to be is completely and endlessly up to you.

Socioeconomic status says nothing about character nor does it have a hold on your ability to display your individuality through fashion. Your ability to make beautiful art out of nothing induces necessary creativity in your own style and builds confidence in your abilities to produce the amazing.Molly-Ringwald-Pretty-In-Pink-Movie-Style-1 (dragged)

You have one, single, little life to do you… so dress quirky, listen to the originals, and be unapologetically you.

I took some random pieces from my closet and put together something that, for me, was highly daring. When I bought the ever-so-bold pinstripe pants I thought “what would Andie do” and then I did it. I bought the adventurous pants and matched them harmoniously with an old U2 band tee to create something all new. Completely not my typical style choice, but it felt very right. It didn’t look like much on the hangers, but what stitched together and brought to life, this outfit made me feel creative, inventive, unstoppable.

Lets #Shock the world with YSL

Lets #Shock the world with the newest mascara by Yves Saint Laurent. Being one of the first influencers to try this mascara in my VoxBox, I was pretty over the moon. I mean it’s YSL girl! First of all the packaging was to die for, with rose gold and black you can never go wrong. Just to let everyone know I was offered the complementary mascara for an honest review of how I liked the product.  Over the years of being in my teens and experimenting with makeup I have tried just about every mascara. I always layer different mascara’s because you want volume, thickness, and length without getting clumpy. The amazing thing about The Shock is that it can coat every individual lash, but doesn’t flake or clump. I always have the extra throw away mascara brush’s that I use with most mascaras just to get the excess off at the end, but did not need it with the YSL. I personally love the brush shape and the formula stays on your lashes well. It is super pigmented so it makes my blue eyes pop and I don’t feel the need to reapply during the day. Overall it is expensive being $29 a tube because usually I buy drugstore mascara, but if you are looking to spurge then put this on your wish list!
